Is there a correlation between Menstrual Issues, Headache & Anxiety?

So many people report ailments such as headaches, anxiety and menstrual issues.
Have you ever considered that these may all be interlinked and that by addressing the menstrual issues you may resolve all other ailments/symptoms you are experiencing?
Statistics show that between 50-60% of the female population experience painful periods. This is outside of people who have been diagnosed with Endometriosis currently estimated at ~15% and PCOS @ ~13%. This is a staggering 78% of the female population experiencing severe discomfort around there cycle and this is based on the Irish Population ( Data may vary these are the stats I received at time of print).
However, did you know that headaches and migraines can occur when oestrogen levels drop or are not at optimal levels which can explain both period pain and or headaches. Hormone production and control in the body is primarily managed by the endocrine system, there are other interactions of course in the body but the endocrine system is a very important part of the process,. If the Endocrine system is compromised it can lead to imbalance and dysregulation of hormones which aren't always detectable in blood tests. Its also important to note that we are all unique so what may work for one person may not work for another as we see with coils, contraceptive pills and HRT medications.
Another interesting statistic is that of women who report experiencing both headaches & menstrual issues Approx~ 65% of the female population these women are more likely to also present with clinically significant anxiety. This means that essentially 65% of the female population are effectively living with significant pain and discomfort each and every month and or even daily in some cases alongside anxiety and it is crippling women's ability to function and to have a normal life or even a decent quality of life.
In my own practice ,I have observed that majority of women who have presented for support for there menstrual cycle experience headaches, low mood and have anxiety. What I have also observed is as we work through resolving the menstrual issues the headaches, low mood and anxiety resolve. This to me, implies that these symptoms are all interconnected not seperate or independent of each other.
