Hello
My name is Denise Keon, and I live in Killimor, a small village in County Galway, Ireland. I am a fully qualified homeopath, having completed a four-year training program in 2019. Since then, I have been practicing homeopathy, continuously expanding my knowledge through professional development courses. I also hold a degree in Fine Chemical & Pharmaceutical Science, earned in 2007, and have pursued additional studies in Anatomy and Physiology. More recently, I trained as a Massage Therapist and a Kinesiology Touch for Health Practitioner.
My Story
My journey into the world of homeopathy, kinesiology, and massage began through my children. As a mother of three, we, like many families, experienced the typical illnesses—colds, flu, and childhood ailments. However, one of my children developed severe chest issues at the age of three, relying on inhalers with no improvement in her quality of life. This led me to seek a more holistic, lasting solution. My research introduced me to homeopathy, and after my daughter received constitutional treatment, which addressed her unique symptoms, she was weaned off medication. By age four, she was off all medication and thriving.

This transformation inspired our family to embrace homeopathy and other holistic tools for our health. Motivated by my own experience, I pursued homeopathy training to empower others with knowledge that could help restore balance and improve their quality of life.

Kinesiology, a muscle testing technique, is another tool I use in my practice. This technique taps into the body’s biofeedback system to determine what the body needs at any given moment. It is especially useful when working with family members, as it reveals imbalances without verbal communication. Kinesiology is valuable for selecting remedies, identifying foods that may cause discomfort, and addressing structural, emotional, or nutritional imbalances. In my home, I use kinesiology to select remedies for my children when they can’t articulate their symptoms, and it has consistently provided great results.

Massage therapy is an essential part of my practice as well. After the birth of my son, I realized how beneficial massage could have been for both of us, but it was difficult to find resources, so I trained to offer this gift to others. Massage not only soothes and relaxes adults but also provides significant benefits for babies, such as aiding digestion and relieving colic. I regularly used abdominal and leg massage on my son, and it helped him sleep soundly. For adults, regular massage helps prevent physical strains from becoming chronic issues, allowing us to tune into our bodies and manage stress.

My holistic journey spans nearly 20 years, beginning with my own exploration of alternative therapies for my family’s well-being. Over the years, I’ve trained in various holistic practices and now offer them to others. Homeopathy, kinesiology, and massage all complement one another, and my aim is to empower others to use these tools to restore balance and health.
In my practice, I support clients by offering the knowledge and tools I’ve gained throughout my journey. However, true healing comes from within. My role is to hold space and guide clients on their personal healing journeys, whether through one modality or a combination. Life is full of challenges, but it also offers the opportunity to shape a future that supports our health and well-being.
